We understand the distinct needs and levels of support that women need particularly as they traverse pregnancy, motherhood and beyond.
We are dedicated to helping men and women to improve pelvic health, return to full function, return to sport and to live a pain-free and healthy, happy life.
ACC cover for Pelvic injuries
At Dynamic Physio, we are committed to supporting birthing parents through
their recovery journey. As of 2022, maternal birth injuries may be covered by
ACC. If you do not already have an ACC claim, our pelvic health
physiotherapist can assist you with this during your initial consultation.
ACC provides support for a range of specific injuries that may occur from the
beginning of labour through to the delivery of your pēpi/baby. This cover was
introduced on 1 October 2022 to help ensure birthing parents receive timely
and appropriate care.
For detailed information on the types of injuries covered, please visit the ACC
website: Here
If you have any questions or would like further guidance, feel free to contact
the team at Dynamic Physio—we’re here to help.

What to expect from a Pelvic health physiotherapy appointment
The sessions are completely confidential and involve initial questioning to ensure a thorough understanding of the patient’s story, history, and goals. We then perform an assessment of movement and function depending on what the patient’s main issues are. The patient is in control of the assessment at all times and has the right to refuse any aspect of their care if they so wish. We believe in educating the patient through every step of the rehabilitation process, thereby ensuring they are at ease and are an active participant in their road to achieving their personal goals. We are also available at any time via email/phone if there are any questions or clarifications that they need.
