Injured in an accident? Dynamic Physio is an ACC registered provider at all three of our North Shore clinics. You do not need to see your GP first: our physiotherapists assess your injury and lodge your ACC claim at your first appointment, so your treatment can start straight away.
ACC is New Zealand’s no-fault injury scheme. It covers injuries caused by an accident, wherever or however it happened, including:
ACC does not cover illness, or pain that has come on gradually without a specific accident. Examples include wear-and-tear arthritis and long-standing postural pain.
If you are not sure whether your injury qualifies, book an assessment or give us a call. Your physiotherapist will talk it through with you, and private treatment is available if your injury is not covered.
Already have an ACC claim number from your GP, an after-hours clinic or the hospital? Bring it with you and we can continue your treatment under that claim.
ACC pays part of the cost of each session and you pay the rest as a surcharge on the day. Community Services Card holders and students up to 18 receive a discount on ACC sessions. Current prices are on our fees page.
Careway is an ACC-funded pathway for some knee, shoulder and spine injuries that coordinates your care and can speed up access to the right treatment. Dynamic Physio is a Careway provider. Find out about Careway.
You can still see us privately. Many health insurers, including Southern Cross, contribute to physiotherapy, and we can provide receipts and clinical notes for your claim. See our fees page for private rates.
