Meet our Women’s Health Physio


Caitlin Irving is our lead physiotherapist in women’s and pelvic health physiotherapy. After completing valuable training at Waikato DHB as well as working in the physiotherapy outpatient team for nearly two years she developed both her skills and passion for treating women in different stages of their life.  Whether it’s during your pregnancy helping with pelvic pain, post-partum by helping you return to exercise; or urine incontinence later in life. This is something that Caitlin is passionate about to help you empower your body and to feel more confident to overcome.

What To Expect From A Women’s Health Physiotherapy Appointment?


The sessions are completely confidential and involve initial questioning to ensure a thorough understanding of the patient’s story, history, and goals. We then perform an assessment of movement and function depending on what the patient’s main issues are. The patient is in control of the assessment at all times and has the right to refuse any aspect of their care if they so wish. We believe in educating the patient through every step of the rehabilitation process, thereby ensuring they are at ease and are an active participant in their road to achieving their personal goals. We are also available at any time via email/phone if there are any questions or clarifications that they need.
